An article came out in the New York Times Business section titled “The Face of Future Health Care,” which stated, “When people talk about the future of health care, Kaiser Permanente is often the model they have in mind.” While the article makes some good points, as why this very may well be the American model for health care, it unfortunately leaves out the perspective of the nurse and paints a bias picture of Kaiser and its system.
