Many car wash workers across the country are given poor wages, long hours and no-on-the job protection.
“I’ve been in this industry for 7 years now. There were times I would work for 10 hrs and the bosses would pay me for three,” Fausto Hernandez says in our latest interview from the AFLCIO 2013 convention. We also spoke with Juliette Ovalle.
Both Hernandez and Ovalle work with @Car Wash Campaign, a group fighting to improve wages and working conditions for car wash workers.
