On February 14 this year, millions of people around the world stopped work, gathered with others and danced in a global action against gender violence. Sparked by author, playwright and activist, Eve Ensler and her organization V-Day, the Valentines Day event was called One Billion Rising In 2014, Eve and V-day are calling for women and those who love them to go to court rooms, town squares and government offices across the world — to demand justice. Ensler announced her 2014 plans for next year in an exclusive interview on GRITTv with Laura Flanders.
